When working remotely, finding a workplace that drives the work is important. Instead of working from home, renting an expensive office space, or working in a crowded coffee shop with poor wifi, many are choosing another more expensive way to socialize: workplaces. Thus, collaborative sites provide an opportunity for design and business ideas to be able to work, but also to be able to work together, learn from each other and build networks.
In addition to the decorated work areas, there are also lounge areas where food and beverages can be stored, meeting rooms or news events, and meeting arrangements, all in an environmentally friendly setting that makes them work.
For freelancers, businesses, startups, and all kinds of people working from home, the question is not why you work in the workplace, but why not ?! Of course, many companies, including traditional companies, are taking advantage and choosing to use workplaces instead of offices.
Are you satisfied? Not so fast! Before jumping to the first place you find, here are six tips to help you choose the right place for you:
1/Choose the number of times you will actually use the workspace
You know this song: at the beginning of the year, you are full of good choices and have decided to join this gym with a vigorous program several times a week. But when you get to March, you realize that you only get there a few times a month (and so on).
To avoid wasting energy on an unused member, make sure you use the workspace regularly. If you have to travel regularly, or if you want to change your environment in a timely manner, perhaps a monthly subscription will not be of much interest to you? Do you need a month, three months, or a year? 3/Think about the location
If you are first going to search near your home, you may soon realize that this is not the right solution because the site is so far away from your regular customers, the area is not perfect or hard to find. .. Conversely, if you find a co-operative that you feel comfortable but difficult to access by transportation, or if there are no facilities (restaurants, administration services …) close and complete, inconvenience can be overwhelming for you.

4/Explain what you want
There are a number of things to consider when choosing a place to work together.
So, do you need a secret place to stay in touch with other team members? Maybe you need a conference room where you can assemble your team.
Do you want to print 100 pages a day? It may be necessary to find a collaborative site that includes printing in its member services. In some places, printing costs increased. Are you a day or night animal? You may want to find an open area 24 hours a day (or midnight), and even open seven days a week.
Do you have to keep valuables at night?
Do you expect to receive packages? Make sure there is some welcome you can expect in your absence. Also, you will probably need a small storage area.
Whatever you want, define from the beginning which services and hats are most important to you and find the right place to suit those needs. This may seem like a small idea, but it can be easily overlooked if you let go of your emotions and enjoy overcoming adversity: you may enjoy a way that looks like a place, but if it does not provide what you will need once you get there, it may not be the best place for you…
On paper, a collaborative space may seem appropriate, but until you have spent the first day working there, it is difficult to know if it is the right choice. And again, you won’t notice everything at first. Again, the simplest way is to ask for the feedback provided by the user community. You will learn a lot about air, which can irritate things, or good coffee!
6/Know the other members
Joining a coworking space is a bit like joining a club, as the very nature of Coworking Websites revolves around socializing and networking. Also, it is important that you get along well with the people you will see every day (or at least several times a week). Each coworking space has its own atmosphere and culture. So you’ll want to ask yourself a few questions: Do I like these people? Do I have things in common (professional or personal)?
Maybe making friends, networking, or collaborating is not your primary concern, but it is important to know who you are going to meet? For example, if you’re looking for your future CTO, but your preferred coworker space is made up almost exclusively of graphic designers or content writers, you should probably factor that into your decision.
7/ Make your decision
Once you’ve followed these tips, you’ll no doubt have narrowed your selection down to just a few. If you’re in a big city, you can always have a long list of coworking spaces that seem to meet your expectations.
